Ford seemed to seriously get involved in the muscle car craze in 1968 by installing the powerful 427 cid / 390 hp engine in the popular Mustang.

By 1969 Ford muscle cars became even more untamed by adding to the line up high performance models such the Boss 302, Boss 429, Mach 1 and the 428 Cobra Jet Fairlane Cobra.

Of course we can't forget the beautiful and fast Shelby GT 350 and GT 500 models.
