1964 Mustang History

March 9, 1964 was a significant day for all Mustang lovers since it was the day the first Mustang was born at the Dearborn, Michigan plant. This legendary pony was introduced for the first time at the New York World's Fair on April 17, 1964 and, without saying, it proved to be an amazing success story.

One of the reasons for the huge success of the 1964 Mustang was that it offered a large choice of optional equipment and trim, thereby fitting everyone's budget when selecting looks, luxury and speed.
