1972 Corvette History

The body style and trim of the 1972 Corvette is unchanged from the previous year. The horsepower ratings changed from "gross" to "net", drastically lowering the figures, but in reality putting out about the same power.

Production numbers for 1972 are 20,496 Coupes and 6,508 Convertibles, totaling 27,004 units.
